I had the honor of speaking as the invited guest at The New York Film Academy’s 2024 commencement in LA today. I feel so blessed to have received an honorary degree ‘Master of Fine Arts in Acting for Film’ from some of the world’s best educators in film and performing arts, who recognize my contributions to the entertainment industry globally. When I attended the @newyorkfilmacademy in 2013, my parents couldn’t afford to put me through the graduate program; but I was still extremely grateful to receive my diploma in ‘Acting for Film’ from such a prestigious school. Little me dreamt of one day making an impact like this and to be celebrated for my dedication to my craft. “Art, just for the love of it” – Swami Shantanand Saraswati
