Elysia Rotaru Instagram – Toronto has a very special place in my heart (not just because I have a lot of family there and the food scene is amazing) ❤️ but every time I go back I discover something new. Like how I’m still buzzing from the wonderful experience I had at @bitsfilmfest with @stephensawchuk last month. Not only was our short film part of the #bloodinthesnowfilmfestival, but it was my first time ever being apart of a film lab and pitching our feature film of @hellisateenagegirlfilm 🔪❤️🔥 the feedback was very inspiring, we met so many amazing people and are pumped to see our #featurefilm come to life soon. And woooow what a rush it all was, stepping into my producer shoes brings me so much joy.

Of course in between work, I had some time to play. Saw my sister @elydarotaru and @lovablekaren her bff from elementary school ( who I haven’t seen in like 20yrs ). Had amazing meals, celebrated our friend @janetrose.nguyen and her short film, got some dancing in and of course, got to finally try @paitoronto with my lovely in-laws @daspence99 & @janetspence101
