I learned how to pose like all the Instagram girlies I saw taking pictures everywhere, we walked and explored everyday until I went nonverbal from hunger, sucked down mulled wine at Christmas markets like they might take it away from us, ate food on trains like giddy children, ordered McDonalds like adults at the nicest McDonalds I’ve ever seen in Vienna, figured out why we’re f*cked at the Freud museum, saw art and music and people and places and it was all so very excellent. Flying back on Thanksgiving and feeling very thankful today.

One of the greatest things that happened this year* was putting together and performing a solo show about my breast cancer experience. Last week I did it for the second time and UH OH I cannot wait to do it again. And again. And again and again. I haven’t been this proud and excited about a creative project in a while, so we’re going to ride the wave and see where it goes. And now that I can successfully leave my house for extended periods of time where should I bring this show next year??? Let me know!!
