GARY COLEMAN ✨✨✨ When I’m watching him in this scene 🤯🤯🤯 His comedic timing. BEYOND!!! Him knowing how to hold for laughs and still keep the joke alive. MASTERFUL!!! It’s not the easiest thing to do… especially when your Live Audience is still laughing for an extended amount of time. He did it like a Veteran… and he was 9. It was around lunchtime at a lunch spot in LA. We were both waiting for who we were meeting. I went back and forth… should I??? …then I shot my shot to Mr. James Earl Jones. JMJ: “Mr. Jones, I’m sorry to interrupt you… but if I could ask you one question, I would greatly appreciate it.” Mr. Jones: “Ok.” JMJ: “As a young actor… what would be your advice for me?” Mr. Jones: “Read the script often… and know everyone’s lines. Not because you have to… but because you should. And, find the love story in every character you play… even when they seem unlovable.” I was only gifted with his presence once in my life. This has been THE BEST holiday weekend!!! I’ve been on a “Stay-Cay” aka …I locked myself inside my house to get some much needed work done. A lot on my creative plate… but Beautiful Black ICONIC Television has been the quilt that has kept my heart warm and my belly fed and nourished. GOOD TIMES ✨✨✨ My Favorite Tv Family!!! This post is dedicated to WILONA (Ja’Net DuBois). I’ve always loved this show and Wilona was definitely one of my top favorites. It’s pretty interesting when you watch a show (I mean, really watch a show) that you are a huge fan of… say 30 years later. Episodes just hit different. Resonate differently. I didn’t realize that Wilona was a True Feminist Hero! Absolute…. and Beautifully Unapologetic.💪🏾🤍 This show was dealing with topics that a lot of shows, at the time, wouldn’t dare touch. As a black actress, I definitely know the shoulders from which I stand… and I’m SO PROUD to be a tiny part in the Black Television Show(s) conversation. #Girlfriends ♥️ Fun Fact: When I was in my late 20’s, I would run into Ja’Net DuBois frequently at this beauty supply store. First time, I didn’t want to bother her… but the second time and after, all bets were off. LOL!!! She was very generous with her time. In today’s veggies, I have… Red Green Kale Romaine Lettuce Green Leaf Lettuce Arugula Spinach Cucumber Celery Avocado Raw Jalapeños Olive Oil Vinegar a little Salt a tiny bit of Black Pepper and some crushed Red Pepper Tab… I also through in a little bit of diced Dill Pickles in there too 🤗 DELICIOUS! I ate it along side a medium (in temperature) piece of Salmon that I made in the skillet. (tiny bit of Olive Oil, dash of Salt & Pepper. Amazing Dinner!!! CLEAN. I’m going to try the Raw & Alive again tomorrow 👍🏾 LOVE Bugs!!! What did you guys eat tonight?
