Went to the premiere of @onlymurdershulu to show you my calves. Wait no. I mean to celebrate the work of idols, friends and strangers. The first episode of season 4 is so fun and the party was blast! Thanks for having us @hulu! Always wearing my @coattmorsecoded bracelet. This one says Thank You in Morse code because being grateful keeps the good times coming, and they don’t stop comin.

Seeing the response of “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” has been so wonderful. These were some of the most awe-inspiring performances I’ve been lucky enough to witness. And playing Pam under the direction of Michael Uppendahl and Ian Brennan was an awesome learning experience. The costumes by Paula Bradley were the best!

Somewhere around the age when my friends and I would go to the Apple Store to take “Photo Booth” pics, I got pregnant while on birth control. My boyfriend and I weren’t ready to front the bill for a taco dinner, let alone ready to be parents. I was working at a smoothie shop and he was taking gigs editing sketches. An abortion was a no brainer. I went to my doctor and had a totally uneventful abortion a few days after finding out. It never struck my conscience as a moral issue. And my conscious is pretty loud and uncompromising. Bringing a kid into the world was something I wanted to do when I was ready. I’m so grateful I had the choice because, about a decade later, I had my son. Which only solidified my stance on abortion rights. My pregnancy wasn’t easy and my week-long labor had me wanting to call the police on everyone. I thought what I was going through was cruel and illogical but I WANTED my son- which kept me hopeful and mentally okay-ish. To make anybody go through the experience of childbirth and not WANT to become a parent is forcing them into so much physical pain and emotional turmoil for no reason. I don’t know how to talk about the people pregnant with babies who aren’t viable or the women charged with crimes because of miscarriages. Friends, listen, I know so many of you think a fetus is a baby and I will never change your mind. And I will forever feel the thing I removed from my body was a chemical reaction. And that’s fine. We just don’t agree here. So how about you don’t get any abortions if you don’t want to but let everyone decide what’s right for them, guided by their own moral compass without the imposition of the federal or state government.
