In 2022 I auditioned for the part of Sarojini Naidu with @onmykayroll for Freedom At Midnight to be directed by Nikkhil Advani. I remember wearing my mom’s sari and jewellery and doing my hair like the way Sarojini Naidu did, the kind I loved my whole childhood, also with that high-placed forehead Bindi. I loved Sarojini,the Nightingale of India, even as a child because I dressed as her for a competition. How proud I was to do this audition and it was almost like deep down I knew I Would be her! Post that audition I changed into a ghagra choli at the @kavishsinha ‘s office itself, while someone else auditioned outside!! 😁 I had to be on stage with Falguni Pathak in an hour because It was Navratri, the Goddess season and I hoped and prayed that I would be Sarojini. It happened! 2 years later, around Goddess season 🙂 Freedom at Midnight is out, today. The shoot that started this year took blood, sweat, tears, resolve and an entire crew working super hard despite many a hardship. Some natural, like the rain and some unavoidable like a melting prosthetic or two. We marched on because one way or the other we believed in our director’s vision (who btw always referred to us on set only by the name of the Freedom Fighter we were playing) 😊 I will never forget the various tones in which he bellowed ‘SAROJINIIII’ !! 😄❤️ I will miss it! Also the sheer deliciousness of getting to etch out and play these mighty men and women that lived and shaped our Nation. A big Thankyou to the team that made this show happen. @emmayentertainment @sonylivindia A big Thankyou to the team and our supreme director @nikkhiladvani who imagined me as Sarojini Naidu, for making me a part of this universe and for holding Us all through it. My co-actors are fabulous people with great talent and an ability to be themselves and these Greats with equal ease. It was a pleasure and honour working with you. You will see us all bring to life this Vision on @sonylivindia today onwards. To this being only the beginning of our journey. Vande Mataram.

VOLUME Up! Throwback to 2004! I voiced Mirage (Mona) in the Hindi version of The Incredibles (Hum Hain LaJawab) alongside none other than Shah Rukh Khan! 🦁👑 Sharing screen space with the King Khan in any form was surreal, and being part of a film that brought smiles to so many faces? Also Good job King Khan .. from the girl you encouraged to voice more se to act more to travel more and perhaps to definitely Love more 😄This Absolutely magical throwback to the press con where I reached late and where there was an empty chair right next to Him !!! Now, with The Lion King roaring back, and Shah Rukh Khan lending his iconic voice to the King of the Jungle, it feels like déjà vu in the best way possible. Another epic, roar-worthy journey awaits!
