Receiving the MBE with my family was a really cool moment ✨ Thank you for your endless support ❤️
Paralympics 2024 in Paris have come to an end. It has been brilliant, and I loved co-presenting with Batman 🦇 @clarebalding. What she does behind the scenes is insane, and as a nation, we are so lucky to have her on our screens. @elliesimmonds is such a sweetheart. Her knowledge is so impressive, and she always shares it with such elegance. I always felt comfortable and safe sitting alongside them, which is so important because I definitely did something that was out of my comfort zone. I couldn’t have done this without my interpreter team – Rebecca, Tobi, and Kirsty “my earpieces lady”. I couldn’t do my job if they didn’t do what they did. Thank you to @channel4 @wearewhispertv @angustvman for providing the tools to show that deaf people can do live TV. I hope this is not the end, and we will continue seeing more deaf people breaking the barriers of what is possible. Inclusivity is everyday life, not once every four years. That is what the Paralympics have always stood for. Now I’m going to wrap myself in a duvet, watch movies, sleep and eat crisps. I’m dead now 😂

Warning: this post may break a few people’s hearts. My episode in ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ is out tonight at 9pm, so this will make sense. Say hello to your newest @avfcofficial fan. (My granddad would be proud)
A year ago, I jokingly told @rickyandthe64 that I would love to party inside a crisps bag while dressed as a crisp for my 30th. He told me that it was possible. Thank you @club64london 📷: @brandoneddy_ 👗: @nathankleinstyling
Never did I imagine I would find myself wearing something similar to what my teachers used to wear 😂 Ludwig; all episodes are now available on iPlayer.

Creating a children’s book has been a lifelong dream for me. My deafness and BSL has taught me that communicating is about so much more than words. That’s why I decided to write this book – to share my experience of the incredible ways we connect with each other. I would have loved to have read a book like this when I was younger. I grew up not seeing any deaf role models or learning about the brilliant things they had achieved. So in this book, readers will learn about some deaf people who have made a real difference in our world. I am really excited about this! The release date is in March 2025, but you can pre-order now. The link is in my bio. ❤️
