Sitting on the beach on a cold Sunday afternoon and observing all the brokenness, the hurt and the trauma all of us walk with.. we fight demons, chaos, insecurities and fear everyday.. all we want is love, connection, understanding and acceptance to sooth our voids and broken hearts.. like ships we are trying to navigate the rough seas with wounded, uneducated captains and no navigation system.. constantly clashing into each other causing chaos and more damage.. a sea of chaos needing, wanting, craving from other broken needy, damaged, chaotic ships.. until one day the sea is calm and you observe your ship.. and the penny drops that you are the captain.. responsibility falls on your shoulders to navigate, to steer and to take charge.. and as each captain starts to fix his ship, fixing the holes and voids and weak spots that could sink the ship, getting rid of toxic crew and patterns .. the ships starts navigating the stormy waters in peace and harmony.. what a great mirror moment to recognise deep seeded wounds and triggers.. to sit in the uncomfortableness of life and the ego.. and to rebuild from a place of vulnerability, honesty, clarity, safety and authenticity.. the awareness, the recognition, the choice, the pause before I react, the change of behavioural reaction, the uncomfortableness of acceptance and ultimately the reward to a beautiful fulfilled, happy, awakened, peaceful and safe life.. next time you observe a chaotic ship – let’s extend love, grace, forgiveness and a helping hand to the captain 💫
