You don’t have to be one or the other; you can be both. AD, I only truly understood this when I started to detach weight loss and aesthetics from health and fitness. I had a mindset that If I ate something ‘bad’ after the gym, then my time at the gym was wasted, and if I was going to eat nutritious food, then I was cheating if I had something I enjoyed and punished myself for it. All of my health-conscious decisions now are made because I love myself.
