Some lessons are learned by simply observing the community around you. Ethiopia has taught me a series of lessons that I will take with me everywhere I go. When you get to explore a place like Omo Valley, where you finally get the chance to truly focus and take in the world around you, you too would want to linger on every minute just a little longer.
My experiences in Ethiopia made me come to terms with a simple truth: we were made to be one with nature. That is maybe why the color green gives me such a sense of calm, why the sounds of rain help me meditate, and why I look for a gentle breeze when I need comfort.
These discoveries may not have been unique in nature (pun intended), but isn’t that beautiful? A part of us all knows that nature provides us with warmth, comfort, and peace. So add a little bit of nature to your travels in 2025!
