Being a perfectionist is exhausting. Perfection is not of this world and we are forever and ever works in progress! 🎨: @morganharpernichols
So what habits do you want to build this year?
The best time to start is always now.

As Steve Jobs once said, “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.”
A message for college and high school seniors as another school year begins… and for all of us no matter the season of life we’re in 💜
“All our lives, we look out for someone to support, inspire, and cherish us, not realizing that we are looking for ourselves.” I love this line from Dr. Amit Sood’s new book, “It Takes You to Tango: Leverage the science of loneliness to master the art of connection.” In addition to being on @Thrive Global’s Scientific Advisory Board, Dr. @amitsoodmd is the founder of the Global Center for Resiliency and Wellbeing and a former professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. His work has informed much of what we do at Thrive, and I’m thrilled for the world to be able to experience his knowledge and wisdom.
My advice to the next generation of leaders:
Pursuing a goal? Here’s my advice…
Love this from @adamgrant 💜
What’s one Microstep you’d like to try in 2025?
Relishing every little thing and every little moment this holiday season ❤️
Here’s why gazelles are my role models…
What makes great performance? “It’s when people work at the intersection of what they’re great at and what they love to do.” That’s from @ejshook1, who just stepped down from her role as CHRO at @Accenture after an incredible 36-year career. And I love her advice for HR professionals, which applies to everybody: “Wake up every single day with intention. Intention about your professional life and about your life beyond your profession.”
Wearing sunglasses inside? Very demure.
Happy Birthday, dear @sherylsandberg! There’s the family we’re born into and there’s the family we find along the way, and I’m so grateful that we found each other. Being able to share the high and low points of life — and everything in between — with you has been a constant source of joy! Here’s to another year, and wishing you a day as wonderful as you are. 💜
