Reminder to Self: Life isn’t just about work.
For so long, I’ve equated success with professional and academic achievements. Starting my career so young shaped me to prioritize work over everything else. It made me feel like nothing I did was ever enough. Somewhere along the way, I lost sight of who I was outside of my career—I lost my personality.
But this year, I’m choosing to change that. I’m not stepping away from my passions or goals; I’ll always love what I do. But I want to prioritize living—really living. I want to nurture friendships, cherish family, and build genuine connections. I want to feel human again.
So here’s to 2025: a year of balance, intention, and joy. Work hard, but don’t forget the simple things that truly matter—love, community, and life itself.
