POV: Frames that didn’t make it to your screens! 💛 After a whole year of audition, rehersals, dress ups, fun, laughter, work and brilliant crew who built it all together we bid aideu to UPK with a vibrant wedding celebration that was a classic sign off! 😄 Towards the last few days of shoot, I kept thinking I would cry for a week cuz the team got very special to me and leaving them was the last thing on my mind while we worked together but when the time came, to my surprise every single person on set from cast to crew had a big fat smile when our director said, “It’s a wrap”. Beautiful drops of happy tears fell through with a heartfelt smile on all of us! 🥹 ( AZHAGU la ) 🪬 What if I say, you guys got to watch on screen only 10% of the beautiful memories that we made being there together? It’s very evident in these pictures that I’ve gotten so much to hold on as memories from UPK. Brilliant artists, A director who not just led us but changed the whole game of the show, The DOP and his team who were working tirelessly just to make us look like a GVM movie cast, The Music Director who went ahead to elevate the standard of a Tamil Web Series, The Schedule Director, The Manager, The set assistants, the make up and hair team, Each & Everyone involved! Let’s breakdown YASHIKA’s bridal look 🥰 (1/2) ft. RAW & unfiltered pictures from the sets of UPK! 🪬 From the minute I came to know that Yashika’s wedding sequence will be the finale episode, I knew I wanted to reflect “Yashika” in a wholesome way but just didnt know how, precisely when @artra_styling came into the setting the lookbook. 🫂 All I told her was, “I need to look how YASHIKA WOULD HAVE LOOKED ON HER BIG DAY.” She worked and came up with a mood board with all interesting looks yashika would have chosen right from colours, jewels, patterns and designs. She chose this not so expensive beautiful green saree from @pothysofficial (as yashika would have done her big day shopping at pothys 🥹) hehe We went for a simple drape with a monotone closed blouse with no heavy works or designs to cherish yashika’s transformation from a Tom boyish phase to a new feminine energy phase of life. And it was beautifully created by @niram.studio and they were so kind enought to help us with this at the last minute. ❣️ ( my fav part of the look 🥹 ) Styling kept minimal with pretty jewels from @thevellishop mix matched 2 different sets of neck pieces and bangles to complete the whole look effortlessly chic and traditional at the same time. The tikka and the chain turned headband was my fav 🥹 ) Outfit, jewels and styling over, what next? Makeup 🥹 Asusual, trusted none other than Yasikha’s fav @makeup_by_kez and she did a fantastic job (ofcourse) We did a copper & peach themed look for a traditional finish and to embrace the dusky tone of Yashika, and it came out just like how we imagined! Kept the hair minimal with straight partition layer braids with konjam malli poo to complete the look. @banuhairstylist – again brilliant! 🤯 From head to toe, everything was planned keeping Yashika in mind and we love how the whole look turned out. 💕 What do you guys feel?
