Mica Burton Instagram – I can’t believe after 2 years, tonight is the last night of the Eras Tour. I am not being hyperbolic when I say that the only bright spot of my almost a year of recovering from my broken leg was attending the Eras Tour in August of 2023. It was the only event I didn’t cancel during my bed rest; I said the only thing that would keep me from seeing Taylor live was a goddamn coma so I spent a week straight hand bedazzling my medical boot, navigated SoFi stadium on a knee scooter with the help of an incredible friend, and (with the help of crazy pain killers) had one of the most memorable nights of my life. Taylor is the reason I got through the darkest period of my life, the reason I realized I deserved better in my relationship where I felt like I was nothing, and the reason why I have “long story short, I survived” tattooed on my arm to remind me to keep fighting.
