Throwback: I can’t believe this was filmed in September last year!🤯 It sure felt like yesterday that I was sitting along the corridor speaking to our family, team of volunteers, interior designers and crew. I think of them more often than I thought I would 🤭 Mdm Shanti and Vathi were the 4th family @dasdyl and I had the pleasure of meeting, and they were the sweetest, most loving duo. Even throughout filming, she was not only attentive towards her daughter but also to the rest of us and our well being. She had a heart that was so kind and nurturing, and I’m so glad we crossed paths working on RenovAID S11. We hoped – at least I hoped – we gave her the same of sense of home she gave us in our time renovating. The Goddess Pose 🪷 This is one hip opener that remains a constant challenge for me. There was a time when I would shudder at the thought of working on it and avoided it because … heartbreak is one thing my ego’s another 😝 3 things I tell myself that help me ease into this posture: – Remember to breathe & relax my shoulders 🌬️ – Pressing my knees outward & shortening my stance – Lean on my yoga teacher for support on proper alignment (important, because sometimes I need some adjustment)
