The first picture is the obligatory dorky shot of me getting to do @livekellyandmark and wanting a photo to prove it. The second picture is from when they said “Scott Wolf and his wife are fans of your work, would it be OK if he came to say hi?” And I was trying to be chill, but the whole time my brain was SCREAMING “😱 OMG it’s Bailey Salinger! Why does Bailey know who I am?!” and I smiled so big my cheeks dented and then I made him take a book for his wife even tho he didn’t ask for one (Hope you like it Kelley!) and basically what I’m saying is, if writing this book is what got me to my Party of Five moment it was WORTH IT!

Full disclosure, I never imagined The Wall Street Journal would actually publish my essay. Usually when I write about all the things our bodies go through (heavy periods and back fat and mole hair and —in this exact essay— vaginal discharge) people ask me to remove it because it’s gross. But if most of us will experience these things, they’re not weird or wrong, they’re normal and we shouldn’t be afraid to say it. So I’ll go first… Shout out to the editorial team at @wsj for keeping it real.

5 Steps to Do Your First CALENDAR AUDIT I started this practice almost a decade ago as an entrepreneur and NOTHING was ever more helpful in helping me to grow my revenue bigger each year. Later it became an incredible tool for figuring out how to improve everyday life: better mama, better partner, more grounded, etc. It’s my favorite New Years activity and I cannot recommend it enough (especially since it’s free and utilizes tools you already have at home!) If you’re interested, the basic steps are below👇🏻 it’s also today’s podcast episode…. It’s also a video on my YouTube channel. A lot can happen in a year… make sure you process it and make a plan from it. 1️⃣ Set Aside the Time: I usually block out 2-4 hours in the week between Christmas and New Year’s for a deep-dive planning session 🤓 2️⃣ Gather Your Materials: 1. A notebook and pen (for sorting and planning) 2. Your calendar (for review) 3. Your favorite caffeinated beverage (for vibe) 3️⃣ Categorize: Write one of each category at the top of a blank page: “Worth It” = Activities that added value to your life or aligned with your goals | “Not Worth It” = Tasks, meetings, or commitments that felt like a waste of time or energy | “Self Care” = Moments you had fun, or recharged 4️⃣ Eliminate and Adjust: the first year I did this I was shocked to discover how much time, energy and money I had wasted in my business. That awareness gave me the courage to say “No” way more often the next year and productivity went thru the roof! Use your awareness of how you spent 2024 to cut unnecessary commitments and create space for what matters most in the upcoming year. 5️⃣ Plan with Purpose: Add intentional blocks for rest, goals, and priorities as you set up your new calendar. Want to take a deep dive on exactly how I do my Annual Calendar Audit? Listen to today’s episode of the podcast 🗓️
Signed 1,500 “tip-ins” (individual pages that are sealed into printed books) for @barnesandnoble because I thought it would make a cool video to promote the signed copies. 🥹 yall bought out ALL the signed copies in pre-order before I could even talk about them! Posting anyway because I want you to know that I (and occasionally some little helper-elves) signed every single page with love. 🤟🏻
