“ वो गाँवों में पेड़ लगाने वाली लड़की “ Someone introduced me recently saying to the other friend “You remember I mentioned about a girl who plants trees, revive rivers and build schools in rural villages, she is the one. I loved this introduction about myself. And would love to keep knowing as a tree planter, who loves to plant trees in the name of her friends or for their loved ones or their children, pet children and the ones who inspired. All because the amount of happiness I see in their eyes when they see the plant is immeasurable. But ofcourse Cannot thank enough to some people who have contributed to planting trees. You are not just helping me to make villages green but giving economic support to a painter, many daily wage labourers ,farmers and unconditional love to all the children and villagers. These are planted in and around schools, temples, hospitals, police stations, healthcare facilities in the rural interior villages areas of Vaijapur district. This is my 4th year of planting trees in rural villages but it’s possible only because of My incredible team @nabhanganfoundation @sagar.thube.90 @dattujadhav and their beautiful friends who has taken the charge on ground to make their villages green. And I am glad I am able to facilitate. Look at the happiness of all the children while holding a tree 🌳 🥹❤️

2023 I had visited Sakshi in her village home near Gevrai taluka. Along with that beautiful smile she is Excellent in drawing and learned drawing online with @priyanka_v_hale almost for a year now. She has extremely sharp mind and I am very proud to see her progress. Today first time she visited a big city and that to Mumbai with her grandfather just to meet me. It was a surprise for me and I hardly had time to buy her favourite books so quickly gathered some goodies for her. But my beautiful friends came to rescue. This gorgeous dress by @prernasaigal many colourful hair bands by @anushabose1234567890, @kedhharbarrve quickly arranged colour pencils and I managed to give her lots of love from this city. All these memories are going to be accompanying her back to her village. Thank you my friends for quickly arranging everything in last minute ❤️

As we celebrating daughter’s day I too look back to my daughter’s in the villages. Since 12 years I have been seeing my kids grow. There are many beautiful, empowering and successful stories in these 12 years but many heartbreaking heart wrenching stories I have experienced too. – 12 to 13 years of girls still getting married. – Many POSCO cases ( 13 year girl molestation cases) going on in villages and the culprits are still not found by the authorities. – I have personally seen many girls dropping out of the school every year. – Children still forced to go for work and there is no fear for any child labour law. Rural interior Villages often neglected. The picture you see in cinema or social media’s is filtered, cropped or too dramatic. Please Go back to your roots and find out how your villages are doing. How your farmers are doing. How their children studying. What kind of exposure, skill development, security, safety and care they are getting. What is their way of joy? The world we imagining specifically for our girls is very far from the realities. Please Create that world for them before bringing a new one in to this world. 🌳🙏❤️ #rethinkvillages #happydaughtersday

I still remember my first judo tournament.. I was nervous I was constantly thinking I will not be able to defend.. I thought everyone is stronger and cooler than me and I am weak. but I kept on playing Judo for next 7 years, lost many tournaments broken few bones and yesss won many medals too but what I learned from all that is to be better and better human being and evolving and learning from life is important. That’s what sports teach you. And I want my rural village kids to learn all-about Consistency, dedication, perseverance, determination kindness and discipline. Now the world is front of all my village kids and I am grateful to those who support me in this dream. Thank you for contributing to @nabhanganfoundation 🙏

Health care in rural villages is another important issue which has been neglected again and again not just by the authorities but even by the villagers themselves. Unfortunately The medical workshops are just formalities nowadays. The departments keep no follow up with the villagers. Better Doctors from nearby towns are not available to visit villages. Villagers don’t travel for further treatments and take their illness lightly ( specially women). Healthcare departments are not taking immediate action if any patients have urgency. Medical Awareness by various agencies is not just to fill up papers. ACTION ACTUAL ACTION should be implemented. But as I am working with villages since 12 years now but still not able to set up proper healthcare system which is sustainable. It’s a shame for me. And I am a failure. Honestly The solution is not easy on an individual level till government comes on board with their healthcare boards and be strict, honest and follow all guidelines. 😔😔😔😔 Another young woman farmer died due to medical negligence and my heart is broken. Again
