Happy new year – and upcoming year of the snake! In Hong Kong we grow up drinking snake soup but swipe left to see my first time eating it fried. According to traditional Chinese medicine, snake meat is “yang” so it warms the body, helping counter the “yin” effects of cold winter. It is good for skin, lungs and and blood circulation. It was hard for me to think about eating it at first, especially with all the scales staring you in the face…buuut I believe in trying everything once. Other scenic spots featured: – Tiananmen Square, where Mao’s body is embalmed – Forbidden City, where 24 Chinese emperors resided over 500 years with thousands of concubines at any given time

Another feng shui tip for the bedroom – Do not place your bed with your headboard against a window, or so that you sleep with a window above your head on the wall behind you. It’ll affect your sleep. And don’t put water imagery above your head when sleeping, it will literally put you under water 🌊 For more feng shui tips check out my Netflix reality show Mind Your Manners. Don’t take it personally if the girl/guy you’re talking to stops replying to your messages.
