❤️Our time together was too short but so sweet ❤️ This day with my little sister @shaina_magdayao was filled with lots of walking, shopping, dining & drinking in my favorite @losgatostown ❤️ ☕️Started off the day with good coffee/tea @bluebottle because we knew this was going be a whole day affair. After a quick stroll, we had brunch at the newly opened @gardenialosgatos. The new interior – including the bathroom was exquisite! Definitely a bathroom selfie is highly recommended. Did you know that there is a winery near downtown LG? A 5-minute drive from town would take you to @testarossawinery where you could sip a glass of wine (or 2) while enjoying the serene vibe! After wine tasting, we headed back into town and perused through the quaint shops. If you have not visited LG in a while, you will be surprised to see that most shops have reopened, and there are new ones that are worth checking out. Dinner and drinks @epernaybistro because she loves a good champagne! And after a day out, a night cap in my backyard to end the day! ❤️ @splusjlabel for our comfy athleisure & @organizedchicas for 🛄 ❤️ #losgatos #funday

“My 2024 Unseen Archives” part 2 Another highlight of my blessed BER (blur) season 🎂🥂 It was an honor to be invited to speak alongside some of the most respected personalities in the industry—Kuya Kim Atienza, Ate Pia Guanio, and Tito Edu Manzano—on the crucial topic of piracy and its impact on our creative industries. Together, we discussed not only the consequences of piracy on the livelihoods of artists and filmmakers, but also the power we each have to stand up and protect the integrity of our craft. 🤝 The fight against #piracy goes beyond just laws and regulations—its about fostering a CULTURE OF APPRECIATION for the hard work and passion that goes into every film, every show, every piece of art we create. 🇵🇭 Following this, I had the privilege of visiting the GLOBE office, where I got to use my voice for another cause that deeeeeeply resonates with me—Globe of Good and their Globe Hapag Movement. 🤍 This program aims to address a critical need in our communities: food insecurity. “My 2024 Unseen Archives” part 1 Cannot not share one of the highlights of my blessed BER (blur) season 🥂🎂 Days filled with incredible films showcasing the brilliance of Filipino artistry — that’s what QCinema 2024 brought to the table. From being part of the festival as their muse and short film juror (Ive developed a newfound appreciation for this powerful storytelling format btw 👏) the experience was nothing short of inspiring. ✨ Our 4-short film omnibus from @quinzaine_des_cineastes opening the festival (this was our PH premiere too 🎥) was a true honor, but what really stood out for me was the celebration of diverse voices and ever-evolving landscape of Filipino cinema. 🇵🇭 Nakaka proud.
