Shraddha Srinath Instagram – Happy new year. Braved (me, I did – For most others it was just a regular day in a country where the sun shines only 10 days a year) pretty windy and wintry conditions and went up a shmol hill to get a view of the London eye fireworks display. I was fine though. As Pande uncle says and I quote “there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad (read ineffective) clothes”. I was nicely padded up in my warmest layers and my outfit was “nature proof” as i described it; impermeable.
I’m not big on new year celebrations, but it was so lovely, the whole thing. Just regular people gathered up in a public place and counting down to the new year and safely celebrating with their friends and families without having to pay any fee whatsoever. Anyhoo. Now I’m talking to you. Ya u. If you had a nice 2024, it hope 2025 is just as good or nicer. If you had an average 2024, I hope 2025 is significantly better. And if you had a shitty 2024, I hope you’re surprised how by amazing 2025 will be and how much you deserve it.
(The best time of the year is over now I gotta wait till end of August to feel cheerful again 😭 jk I have a film release in 11 days and I’m feeling grand)
