This song is special to me because it flips the traditional narrative of loveโhere, the female takes the lead in showing her love to her special one and I find that such a beautiful and empowering expression of love๐
Collaborating with the music team, @akshayandip was v enriching they absolutely understood the sonic space I wanted to create, we jammed several times and figured the right zone for the song both tonality and music production wise and Iโm so proud of how it has turned out.
The video, with its old-world charm, was a dream to create. I remember all the discussions I had with my director @taanitanvir , who truly captured the essence of my vision and translated it into every frame, making it feel like a painting come to life. We shot this in Georgia, and Iโm so grateful to @taahashah for adding his unique charm and finesse, which elevated the entire project.
I absolutely love experimenting with different genres of musicโmy last single was a vibrant Pop dance number, (Dil Kuch Hor Ni Mangda) and this one is a soft, soulful love ballad with an element of punjabi folk.
