Clicks from @mbifl Glad to have been one of the speakers at the Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters, discussing ‘Bhandhangal: Nirvachanangalile Thiruth.’ I’ve always wished to see writers being celebrated, and it’s incredible to witness this festival growing bigger and more impactful with each edition—now in its 6th year! This festival is a celebration of the people, conversations, and debates that shape every phase of life (jeevithathile ella thurakalilum ulla manushyarum charchakalum aditikalum ulla festival). It was a joy meeting so many people I admire and engaging with an audience that genuinely seeks to broaden their perspectives and enrich their world. Thank you, Mathrubhumi, for creating this vibrant space for meaningful discussions! Captured by @jenson_j_photography

Missing home today, and i was checking some old videos from my village and came across a Naverupaattu/Pulluvan Paattu clip. It instantly took me back to my home, my childhood—the little girl who was completely captivated by every myth and story she heard. I can still feel the pride and warmth in my heart when she sings ‘Anumolkutty,’ believing her words washed away all negativity inside me. That song, with its blessings from the serpent gods, isn’t just an old tradition; it’s a part of who I am. Grateful for the ones who keep this alive, weaving blessings into every note. 🙏 #anumol #anuyathra #pulluvanpaattu #naverupattu
A few years ago, on a day when the whole family was home—and guests were on their way—this is exactly how my home looked! That classic ‘guests are coming’ hustle, where everything suddenly gets extra tidy and busy. And me? Always on my phone, as usual! It’s always fun when everyone is home—chaos, laughter, and endless memories! Radhechi, Motta, Vishak, Vipi, me, Amma… my heart feels full. ❤️🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿🤍 (Excuse the chaos in the background—house renovation was in full swing! 😅)
No one has the right to judge another. It’s easy to speak from a place of privilege, but every person’s journey is unique. Kindness costs nothing, yet it means everything. Let’s respect each other, embrace our differences, and allow people to live with their own rights and wrongs. The world needs more understanding, not judgment.
