Armeena Khan Instagram – Hey guys, I’ve been tagged in some posts body shaming me recently and I wanted to address that real quick 😊. Well, the truth is that women’s bodies change over time (mine has too) and no phase is permanent. I’ve been a size 00 in the past and it has been deeply unpleasant for me, I never want to be in that category again. I think maybe some people don’t know that I have had a child. And so for the sake of all that is pure and good in my life, I am in no hurry. I believe in healthy and best versions, really subscribe to that. Having said all of that, I absolutely respect your right to make comments on me since I am in the public eye but please know we are all fighting mental and physical battles in our personal capacities 🥺*. I appreciate I’m not entitled to it, I understand that but a little kindness goes a long way for a struggling soul sometimes (And we all do that in moments, I am no different). And here is the truth, while the posts may sting for a little bit, I am happy playing mum to my child and taking each day as it comes. I am in no hurry or pressure, I understand what it is to lose my health. On another note, I’ve been absent for a while and I am so grateful to those who have stuck around despite the long hiatus. I appreciate you and I see you. Finally, this was not an easy post to make but I am staying true to me and going against the grain (some of you know me for it). I will do this my way inshallah.
