2024. What a year. There have been so many highlights this year. But here’s what it really looked like. 🙂 My pregnancy was so hard. I was so sick all the time and the meds I took to help with it made me tired. I threw up so hard sometimes that I blew blood vessels in my eyes. Actually giving birth to Michael might have been the easiest part of it all 😂 we wrote our second screenplay during this pregnancy and I’ve spent the first months of Michael’s life producing and getting ready to act in it. I’ve had a goal since I was 15 to be working on a set at least once a year. This is the first year I haven’t achieved that goal. That’s been hard. Feeding my son has been amazing. But pumping and feeding have also been hard on my body. And my god the body changes!! It has been difficult to look and feel like myself. I am still trying to find it. But so many good things also happened. We are making our first Mismo movie. That’s been so exciting. Watching our son discover the world has made my heart burst every day. And watching the love of my life become a father has been the greatest gift. This year was hard but my goodness it was fulfilling and amazing in so many ways. I’ll find myself again eventually. In the meantime, I’ll be over here working hard AF while also snuggling my boys and my sweet pup.
