The untold story of Javed Iqbal, the notorious serial killer who tortured and killed more than a 100 children and then turned himself in to the Police. This happened in the 90’s when I was a child myself and I was haunted by this horrific story for months. Little did I know that many, many years later I would be offered a role in a film based on his story. The film renamed “KUKRI” after being banned in Pakistan, from releasing, for over a year, finally saw cinema screens all over the world. It opened the UK film festival and won awards in quite a few international festivals.
