Camryn Manheim Instagram – SNL 50th Anniversary Show was everything you’d expect and more. It was a thrill to celebrate the phenomenal talent that has exploded on their stages since it premiered in 1975.
Forgive me the name dropping, but for a girl who grew up in Peoria Illinois, it was incredible to be in the company of so many of my favorite entertainers of all time.
Paul McCartney, Steve Martin, Paul Simon, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Nate Bargatze, Jim Gaffigan, John Mulaney, Martin Short, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Meryl Streep, Dave Chappelle, Lin Manuel Miranda, Keith Richards and more. But above all, It was an honor to celebrate with my dear friend Cheri Oteri who took Saturday Night Live by storm in 1995. The love people have for her is intoxicating. Just walking through 30 Rock up to Studio 8H with her was a thrill. I hope I didn’t embarrass her by taking too many pictures. Deep down, I’m still just a girl from the Midwest and can’t believe how lucky I am to be invited to the party.
