‘This Is How We Look, Is This Who We Are?’ A group exhibition by Evelyn Bencicova, Rala Choi, Camila Falquez, Amy Friend, Xènia Fuentes, Carlota Guerrero, Sarah Moon, Bettina Rheims, Trine Søndergaard, Maria Svarbova, Andrea Torres Balaguer, and Bastiaan Woudt. Opening Reception: Thursday, December 12th, 18:30 Barcelona Sèneca We’re thrilled to present our first photography group exhibition, that brings together works by 12 international artists exploring identity as an ever-evolving concept. The artists do not simply document a state of being; they construct it, molding it to their specifications. Rather than reflecting a fixed reality, the artists perform before the camera and, by extension, before the viewer. We’re also pleased to introduce Carlota Guerrero (Barcelona, Spain, 1989) as part of the exhibition. Her trajectory is a sidereal one, that has much to do with the spirit of the times and with her vision of women as goddesses. A very special goddess: pagan, friend of her sisters, who does not attend to the industry’s canons of thinness and with a point between the classic, the innocent and the irreverent.
