I woke up thinking about Black Cat, White Cat, one of my favorite films. 🎥 Maybe it’s because I was born in Iași, in the Balkans, where chaos is an art form, drama turns into comedy, and everything is a little too much… but in the best way possible. This film reminds me of my roots: a place where noise is constant, contrasts are everywhere, but somehow, everything finds its balance—even if you’ll never figure out how.
Today, I’m grateful for growing up in a land where “normal” is boring and “too much” is just the way things are. Maybe that’s why I love a film that celebrates the craziness and beauty of life. And you? Where does your “too much” come from?
