Charlotte Kemp Muhl Instagram – When my friends @threeasfour found this kitten on the street, and I offered to look after her for a few days, I didn’t know it was going to be such a rollercoaster… but soon as I met her I smelled necrotic flesh, and sure enough her tail just needed to be emergency amputated (was pretty intense watching it start to rot/rip off, the antibiotics didn’t win out over the infected dog bite, but vets did a great job of removing and cleaning it) and now I’m completely in love with her…! Aghhh. Can barely leave her side and she’s been so brave and sweet through it all. She needs 6 rounds of oral meds a day but fortunately she is snack obsessed (same) and will devour her meds if doused in some variant of sardine slime (same).
Sorry to gross you guys out but she’s a celestial Yokai who has been comforting me through some serious betrayal of people I thought were my friends who I worked really hard for and created an amazing otherworldly tech opera for, exploiting my team’s unpaid labor and concepts for no credit and only to be plagiarized and intimidated into forfeiting my rights to my own content after going in debt for them. Silicon Valley is gross. Anyway, if you’ve wondered where else I’ve been for months…it’s been in my basement building robots with my fam @finismusicae ! And touring night markets in Hong Kong and Parisian graveyards with the most lovely @st_vincent
