I first saw @officialjanetmbugua on Rush, the TV series, back in 2013. I loved her performance as an actress and knew I’d want to work with her someday. Eventually, I found the perfect role for her on @kash_money_series , but it took about two months to lock her down because of (our schedule and her schedule). As for @therealjohnsibioku, 🙌🏽 casting him was a no-brainer, but our casting manager reached out to him twice, and he said NO 😂😂😂. I told @theonlybrianrobert to tell him he had no choice, and the rest is history. It was an incredible experience shaping the vision with all the talented people on the show. Their professionalism and eagerness to learn were truly inspiring. Here’s one of my favorite scenes between the two—watching it in silence still captures the underlying tension and mistrust.
