Started the day with a little Grammy Awards rehearsal, and was filled up by Greg Pierce’s lyric from @composerkevinputs #TheHours 💛 “Here is the World, and you live in it. And you are not alone… and you try to be and you try to be and you try and you try and you try and you try.” Singing again with @reneeflemingmusic and @joycedidonato with Kevin at the piano will be such an honor. Last night was a dream! Revisiting my beloved #southpacific family was the best gift at a time like this, heavy and emotional, as the show seems more relevant than ever. I love this theatre family so much, and it was beautiful to share it with my real family. The last bit of the video is me with my kids (the young man on my left was the one cartwheeling with me every night for 5.5 months (in my belly) back in day. Some jobs feel personal, and South Pacific is at the top of that list for me. I love this group of people so much and feel so grateful to all the cast, crew and orchestra at @lctheater, especially @bartlett.sher @tedsperling #chrisgatelli and my beautiful @pauloszot @dannybur (take a nap), @lorettaablessayre @matthewmorrison @lijunli and all the glorious, talented, kind actors on that stage. My dear friends. They say “you can never go back again.” But in art, sometimes we can. Even if for a moment. ❤️

Not usually one for #newtrends (might explain lots of thing), but excepting @bethbehrs #norhythmsmoothiechallenge because I happened to be drinking one while hers came through my feed (was supposed to be doing yoga in this hotel room but naturally paused to look at Instagram 😩). I’m in Big D for a concert tonight and needed a little inspo. I chose this particular music called “vacation” because it said it was #trending and it was one of the first ones on the list, and I like it. I wish you all a no rhythm, smoothie kind of day. Like a vacation.
