Here’s How quickly my dad escalated from being a non-dog person to a dog person.
Me: “I’m getting a dog you do what you want papa!”
Papa:”ya toh iss ghar main main rahugaan ya doggie!”(im not kidding, this is legit what he said)
Me:”aapke pass 2 ghante hain, main doggy la Rahi hoon, aap apna figure out karlo tab Tak!” #rebelmodeon

I step out of the car, Jai carried Puchki in his arms and papa stood at the gate of the house, just smiling at this little squishy face. Reached out to her, held her close, and said,”Lakshmi aayi hai!”😂
Puchki had that in her. She was love at first sight, for all of us in our own way. I mean, come on, she was able to bring this emotion out of my dad, who, let’s face it, was never ever a dog person.
She brought our family closer and taught us the meaning of unconditional love, and for that, I’m forever grateful.
Miss you little munchkin! Hope you’re enjoying your Ice cream and dosa’s up there. ❤️
