My first post is dedicated to my beautiful friend @chungkayanlinda — ever radiant, always gracious and full of love that you spread through your music and performances, your motherhood, your kindness and energy. Thank you for spending time with us in Toronto, meeting so many of your long-time fans amongst our esteemed guests and being so generous with your time, presence and sharing. Many people, especially fellow young moms, expressed how touched and inspired they were by your words and experiences in our fireside chat. Hope you had a wonderful time!
As many children of diaspora continue look up to you and how you have constantly made breakthroughs in your career as a Canadian artist, in your life, and see your journey… I can’t wait to see just how many inspirational stories will take off because of you as a role model. And the generational baton continues to be passed, just as this year’s theme of Thinking in Decades. We sit in the shade of trees planted before us ❤️❤️❤️❤️ and together, we move culture forward 🙂
