Spending time with the kids at @aiglonswitzerland always leaves me feeling inspired! Seeing their passion for skiing and learning reminds me that the greatest wins aren’t just on the slopes but in helping others grow. It’s been a busy couple of days running drills with the Junior Academy, coaching Year 11 groups, and even heading up the mountain with the youngest students for their Mountain School day 🫶🏻 I’m also so proud to see the @lindseyvonnfoundation scholarship at Aiglon coming to life, giving young athletes the chance to chase their dreams both on and off the slopes! Can’t wait to be back again soon. 🎿🏔️😁

I’m not gonna lie, these past few weeks have been tough. I love skiing and that’s the only reason I came back to this sport… but there have been so many negative voices. People who don’t believe in me. People who say I’m too old and slow. People who question my character. People who tell me to move over because my time is up….I know they are only a few voices out of many…. But it still hurts. I try to be strong, but I’m not always strong. I am human. I think it hurts because I care. I know I shouldn’t, but at the end of the day, my skin is only so thick. I wish I could have done better, but I didn’t. I did my best with what I had. And I know I don’t handle every situation perfectly… because im very far from perfect. But I do care. Probably too much. Which is why my emotions get the best of me sometimes. But don’t worry, I’m not going to give up. I believe in myself and I know with hard work I will get to where I dream of going. Thank you to everyone who has supported me. Let’s keep dreaming!

It’s been 2,187 days since I raced in a World Championships… but tomorrow I’m back!!🙌🏻… something I never thought I would be able to do. I feel lucky to get this opportunity but also thankful that I was able to earn my way here with a body that is finally working again! This journey hasn’t been an easy one but it has given me a lot of joy. I’ve lived an incredible life since I retired in 2019 and I miss that life, my dogs and my family. But this adventure is short and one that I will not waste. I know I still have the ability to succeed in this sport but will all the pieces of the puzzle fit together tomorrow? I don’t know. What I do know is this; I will give it my all, I will not take it for granted and I will have fun! …And if everything doesn’t fit together tomorrow, that’s ok too. I still have 368 days to figure it out 😉 Excited to be a part of team USA tomorrow💪🏻 LFG!! … ps… I have a bad cold or flu 🤒 but don’t worry, I wouldn’t let something like that prevent me from racing after everything I’ve gone through to get here! I guess the competitor in me is still there…
