Oggi esce un EP incredibile dei @santifrancesi che è una delle cose più sincere e vere che la musica italiana in questo momento storico possa immaginare. Io ho avuto il privilegio di ascoltarlo passo per passo, pezzo dopo pezzo, e ogni volta sono rimasta commossa dal talento di questi ragazzi, che fanno musica come si faceva una volta, pesata, pensata, prima suonata poi registrata poi ancora autoprodotta, poi regalata al mondo con la speranza di essere ascoltata dall’inizio alla fine e non in 15 secondi su qualche maledetto social. Potrebbe non avere peso eppure di questi tempi ne ha moltissimo. Se oggi avete qualche minuto, sedetevi e ascoltatelo.
I’m not biased and I really am not. Today an incredible EP by @santifrancesi is coming out which is one of the most sincere and true things that Italian music can imagine in this historical moment. I had the privilege of listening to it step by step, piece by piece, and every time I was moved by the talent of these guys, who make music like it used to be done, weighed, thought out, first played then recorded then self-produced again, then given to the world with the hope of being listened to from start to finish and not in 15 seconds on some damned social media. “Potrebbe non avere peso” and yet these days it has a lot of it.
