Swipe for my food diary by the beach ☀️🌊❤️ You all know I’m a vegetarian and my trip to @patinamaldives was absolute food heaven. Not a dish disappointed. The enormous breakfast spread, several restaurants with a menu that left us spoilt for choice as veggies and fun food trucks made the trip one of my favourites. What you can’t see is the burger we had every day from the Go-go Burger food truck & the Baos from Tum Tum (they were eaten before I could take a picture) 1. The coffee that was so good, we brought the beans back home 2. Congee for breakfast from the Asian spread – wholesome and warming 3. Pool side grub – Pizza (the dough was so good I ate the kids pizza sides) and Mattar Paneer obviously 4. My kids call it cheese samosa but this was Rokakat at Arabesque 5. Hot and Sour soup for the soul and the stickiest crispy eggplant at Wok Society 6. A Maldivian local dish I had every morning, Pumpkin Mas Huni with yam chips 7. Creamy Mushroom Crepe ; it was with dosa batter that Chef Mohit improvised because he said “you shouldn’t eat the same breakfast everyday on holiday”. Yum! 8. Spa Day spread 9. An Oil & Salt Bar. The porcini infused olive oil was to die for! 10. A breakfast plate for veggies! 11. Roasted Eggplant with chimichurri and tahini sauce at Portico 12. What the adults ate at Arabesque. The labneh was pillowy soft! 13. After all that food, a pot of Oolong ❤️
