Flashback 80s stylee Chappers rockin’ the 80s perm for all her worth! Massive thank you to @guardian. I love this ‘flashback’ feature in their Saturday magazine, didn’t ever expect to be the one being featured ☺️ 🙏 Anyone else remember this look? Anyone else recreating with this 80/90s revival each weekend 😂 Who still has a ‘loose’ perm which never ever drops… however much you hoped it would. The wide tooth comb, water spray (normally used for house plants) to keep those fried curls, gallons of hairspray & Vo5 oil you heated up in a glass of luke warm water before applying. Oh those memories… One of the best shoots I have ever done. Springing into Feb Felt like I needed a lift going into Spring so decided a blast of hot pink & a long bob. What do you think? I often get asked about my hair, makeup & clothes. Today is all about my follicles 🤣🤣🤣 Popped a quick q&a at the end of the reel with the lovely Sonia who’s been doing my extensions for a loooong time. Quite a few of you ask about the technique… Not an ad for Sonia (although I strong armed her into helping with the reel ‘cause she’s better than me at this) or Richard Ward (I pay) but love the end result & it really does protect my hair whilst still giving me the volume I crave. Peeps with thin hair totally understand. I want luscious locks – stamps foot. Today I have them! Worth the Kew The perfect day to get a sneak flora peek at Kew Gardens annual Orchid festival inspired by the flora & fauna of Peru in the Princess of Wales Conservatory. Certainly worth a visit & brightens up the winter months. It’s also beautifully warm in there! They know I’m an avid orchid keeper – some of my plants are over 20 years old and still flowering regularly (I have lost a few along the way too). This collection puts my 25 plants in the shade Saturday 1 Feb to Sunday 2 March For those wanting to go, entry is included when purchasing a ticket for Kew Gardens but book a separate time slot for Orchids 2025 in advance.
