Thanks to the civil society who brought this video up and made it viral and due to the prompt response of @cpwbpunjab led by Sarah Ahmed this child you see in my previous video has been rescued but unfortunately like him many others still suffer from child abuse, trafficking and neglect. We are working towards policy changes, better law implementation and prompt intervention of the concerned departments so that our children and the children of Pakistan can get protection which is their basic right. Thank you to people like @njlahori @friehaaltaf and many others who are working for the protection of children in Pakistan.

Covering the child’s story who was sold to a Guru by his mother in 20,000 R/s. Who later with the help of @cpwbpunjab was rescued and the persons responsible were caught by the police. This child is now going to stay at the Bureau with many other such children who were abducted, abused or abandoned but luckily now live a normal life and have access to education, a safe environment and in guardianship. There’s much that needs to be done.
