When two people join forces and have the same vision you manifest things at a whole other speed. To find someone who shares the same vision as you and passion to create unique & meaningful experiences for the community it truly is a beautiful experience and that is what I share with @nadhisha.perera through what we have created at @thevibetribeco_ I had to grab her by the hand when the art therapy sessions were being conducted so we could take in that something we had been working on since last year has come to fruition in such a wholesome way. We teared up to see it all come to life 🥺 The girls laughed, cried, hyped each other up, shared stories & connected on a deep and meaningful way throughout the day. Everything aligned from the sunshine gracing our melanin, the gorgeous view of the bay, the most amazing team to support with setting up, talented facilitators, amazing vendors, sponsors and team to curate the perfect day but most importantly the PERFECT group of women who decided to invest in themselves, step out of their comfort zones, attend an event (many came alone) and came with open minds to learn, connect & heal. I messaged Swarnaa in early September last year with the idea of running manifestation workshops because of a post she shared on her Instagram story (more on that later). We had already discussed how aligned we were with our spiritual journey and how we fully believed we were sisters in a past life (this ended up being true, more on that later too) and Swarnaa being Swarnaa immediately said yes. We ended up seeing each other 12 days later and held our first ever impromptu business meeting infront of a huge window overlooking Hyde Park for a business we didn’t even know the name of yet. Looking back, it was always meant to be @thevibetribeco_ – because look at us. Every single time we’re in each other’s space the vibes are high and the love and support is always genuine. Fast forward to 4 months later. We held our first workshop – Manifest You, launched our business with 30 beautiful souls added to our tribe, collaborated with 7 other small businesses who showcased their products and services during our workshop, featured 8 south Asian founded businesses within our goodie bags and due to so much love and positivity post workshop, we’re busy working on doing another one! I wanted to highlight the power of sharing and the power of reaching out to people you feel aligned with and the magic that it can create. No longer do we have to work alone in fear of what others might think. No longer do we have to fear others success in fear of lessening our own, because collaboration outshines competition every time. Let’s form communities of humans who uplift and support each other and work together to heal, understand each other, break generational patterns, work on growth and succeed together and that’s exactly what The Vibe Tribe Co is all about. Just wanted to take this opportunity to express gratitude for all the people who have waltzed into our lives and showered us and most especially thambi with a lot of love this year ❤️. Christmases and festive breaks have always been a little overwhelming for me because for many many MANY years I single-handedly always try to do the most purely so my brother has a good time (so elder sister coded right?!). It has definitely burnt me out over the years. So to those that do scroll through social media feeling like their Christmas or festive break doesn’t look as fun and wholesome as others and sometimes feeling very isolated I completely understand. Or to those that never grew up with a big family or loads of cousins – I completely get you. I have come to realise Christmas doesn’t always need to be spent with your blood family but can also be spent with your chosen family and friends. Over the last few years our family has opened its heart to people who have easily BECOME family and it has become nothing short of wholesome. For those that have experienced loss, experienced heartbreak, experienced distance and change that makes this holiday period challenging, I’m thinking of you and wishing you a healing journey. I also pray that you too get to cross paths with people that make you wonder where have you been all my life & these festive periods & life in general get a whole lot better ❤️

This is for my girlies with darker pigmented lips, dual toned lips or two toned lips! Truth be told this has been a bit of an insecurity for me but I’m trying to find products that help bring back some colour or products that just work on pigmented lips. Whilst playing around with some products I discovered this combo that I’ve been wearing on an everyday basis and I LOVE! Bringing my Pinterest dreams to reality with this super duper wholesome glamping experience. Also it’s ONLY 90mins from Toronto which is a pretty sweet drive! Our trip in Malaysia was a reunion for my dad to see his high school friends after 40 years. He had friends fly in from UK, Europe and different parts of Australia. These are people we had never met before. So this was one heck of a FAMILY trip. There was no chance my sister and I were going to rock two pieces or even one pieces but we didn’t have to think twice about what swimwear we were wearing on this trip.
