Abigail Hawk Instagram – Again I am indebted to Sonia and Celeste and Allie and all at Good Little Girls ‘Zine for holding space for the words of my heart. Issue 14 is called ‘Detainee.’ It is brimming over with beautiful and unflinchingly honest musings of remarkable women. My poem, remains, is my attempt to process profound grief. My own, yes, but also all of ours. Where do the pieces of a life unfinished land? How do those left behind continue? How do we digest the seeming cruelty of a world that just…keeps spinning? How very small we can feel. How fragile. How *human.* What remains? I am still searching, but I know that love remains. In varying capacities, love stays.
