I love making this in my cold-pressed juicer to keep all the nutrients intact — simple, potent, and so good for immunity, skin, and digestion.
Ingredients I use (for 1-2 shots):
• 1-inch piece fresh ginger
• 1-inch piece fresh turmeric
• 1 amla (or 1 tbsp amla juice if you can’t find fresh)
• Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional, but I love the freshness it adds)
• Pinch of black pepper (super important for turmeric absorption)
• Honey (optional, to balance the spice — depends on the day!)
I juice them all together and take it fresh, first thing in the morning. Benefits:
• Ginger: Anti-inflammatory, boosts digestion.
• Turmeric: Anti-inflammatory, antioxidant.
• Amla: High in vitamin C, great for immunity and skin.
• Black pepper: Helps turmeric absorption.
