Adult cats need love too ❤️ Older cats are calmer and their personalities already mapped out. If you wanna skip the whole kitten destructiveness phase I’ll suggest an older cat. Many of us have to stay away from home for long hours and in that case kitten supervision is difficult. Once you go beyond the cute pics of kittens you’ll see older cats are just the same just fatter now 🤗 Older cats want a home with someone who will love and care for them to live out the rest of their lives. I personally hate shelters (if you’ve been to one you’ll know why) A friend adopted a 6 year old cat from an NGO last year. She’s named him Hulk now because he’s literally turned from a bag of bones to a 7 kg boy !! That’s what love does. Motu, the little rascal who adopted me gave me the best 5 years of my life. As much as I miss him I only think of bringing older cats when I’m retired. The senior ones with a few months to live, the blind or paralyzed ones for sure. It’ll be our warm retire home where we all heal ✨️ Because most people opt for younger cats or kittens, the older cats are being left behind, which means they spend the rest of their lives with 30-40 others or in cages with no proper hygiene. These are a few older cats that are looking for homes in Mumbai – Pune Please DM if interested 🙏🏻
