The Rabadis are the locals that graze their sheep near the mountains. They know the leopard caves and their movements and make sure that the respect between man and animal is taken care of. It is thanks to them there has been no poaching in this area.
Our guide and safari crew was led by Rajendersingh Ranavat. He literally streered the car at a 80° upward slope on the rocky mountains that dotted the spectacular landscape. An unforgettable sight was of a mother leopard with her 3 young cubs, getting ready for a hunt.
The sparkling blue waters were home to huge crocs that we caught sunbathing.
Post a breakfast up in the mountains, overlooking the lake, we came back to the resort to relax. The resort itself had everything included for a great family holiday : a pool, a playyard, a pickle ball court, amphitheater, spa and a kitchen garden too. The staff at the Radisson was outstanding.
Anita laid out a scrumpteous cuisine, while Vikas made sure we had the best time ever, with our every wish promptly fulfilled.
It was indeed a perfect gateaway.
