There’s something special about watching a mom and her son train together—especially when that mom is a world-class fighter who can still put her son in check with a well-timed jab!
I’ve had the privilege of training @alphacatzingano since 2020, and beyond being a warrior in the cage, she’s one of the most inspiring single moms I’ve ever met. She’s balanced life as a pro fighter while raising @zingano.brayden, who’s grown from a young kid hanging around the gym into a strong young man chasing his own path.
This past week, I witnessed a moment that just hit different—mother and son shadowboxing at the end of their session. Watching them move, push each other, and share that unspoken bond through training was something special. You could feel the balance in their relationship—mutual respect, competitiveness, and love.
Brayden, I hate to break it to you, but I think Mom still has the edge. Moms always win.
