Dana Alexa Instagram – It’s been hectic here being a mama, dog mama, foster dog mama, partner and business owner but every once in a while I get to catch the last 30 mins of class on Wednesday with @mvrk.dvniel and then he puts me on the spot for a duet 😅 (humbling af and exceptional training.)
Mark was our first official faculty member and he is a gifted dancer and choreographer. Over the last few months I’ve seen him open up and improve not only as an artist but as a teacher. He’s more specific, more in tune and more thorough. I had a gut instinct about his greatness when I saw him and I know now it was spot on, he’s one in a million.
When I watch myself in these clips I see a lot id like to work on but mostly I see someone who still loves dance the way she did when she was 2, and that is a win for me. Through every season – dance has been there for me and it has been the ultimate honor to open a space that allows dance to be there for others and to employ people like Mark that make the space safe, inviting and oh so fun. Thank u for class @mvrk.dvniel and for everything you are to @thecirclestudiosa & to me!
