The latest Captain America film features anti-Palestinian character Ruth Bat-Seraph aka Sabra, who first appeared in the 80s as an Israeli Mossad operative. After backlash, Marvel made superficial revisions but said they would not remove her. Sabra is also portrayed by Israeli government propaganda spokesperson and volunteer IOF soldier Shira Haas, only making the character’s racist history worse.
