Watch with the sound on to hear some of the endearingly sincere conversations between the two. As a mother of two, Karena was completely at ease with this little monster running around her studio. There were huge, beautiful vases displayed on the floor, some of which were waiting to be packed up for our exhibition – of course Sora insisted on wearing her “Elsa Cape” and spinning around amongst them (Mum stood by sweating bullets 🥵). Despite this, Karena’s unending patience and relaxed demeanour meant that Sora felt completely at home. They discussed different topics ranging from their favourite Disney princesses to the best types of cereal. At one point Karena said: “Wow! You’re learning so much!” And Sora responds, “Yeah, you’re learning so much too!” ❤️ It has been a real pleasure to bring this exhibition together with Karena who is so completely dedicated and passionate about her work and her art.
