As a mother of two, Karena was completely at ease with this little monster running around her studio. There were huge, beautiful vases displayed on the floor, some of which were waiting to be packed up for our exhibition – of course Sora insisted on wearing her “Elsa Cape” and spinning around amongst them (Mum stood by sweating bullets 🥵). Despite this, Karena’s unending patience and relaxed demeanour meant that Sora felt completely at home.
They discussed different topics ranging from their favourite Disney princesses to the best types of cereal. At one point Karena said: “Wow! You’re learning so much!” And Sora responds, “Yeah, you’re learning so much too!” ❤️
It has been a real pleasure to bring this exhibition together with Karena who is so completely dedicated and passionate about her work and her art. We are absolutely honoured to be able to share the purity of this collaboration with the world.

Inspired by Benson’s film The Perks of Being Wild, this exhibition explores themes of childhood and innocence ✨. Benson and Sora’s collaborative paintings beautifully complement Karena’s ceramics, creating a creative dialogue through art.
