There was so much to soak in with all of the smiles between the pockets of silence. Everything felt like an experience. It wasn’t just because of being in a different country either. Every bit of effort put in, was made to be and felt like an experience. Big and small. Nothing flashy, just intentional at its own pace, taking the time to really soak in what you’re doing and seeing. The attention to details in so many things like food, markets, sacred places, busy city streets, architecture, was so evident, yet there was still a certain level of humble, respectful order that lays underneath it all.
