Celebration day!! My number one priority this year – after a couple of pretty challenging years – is to get my health and fitness back. And today, for the first time in three years, I planked – and managed three and a half minutes. Pretty happy with that! A bit to go to get back to my previous record of 6 minutes, but sometimes it’s the small wins, right? And I’m getting there!! 💪🏼🤞💃❤️😉🎉
A timely reminder that it’s only when women lift each other up, that real change can happen. Happy International Women’s Day everyone. ❤️❤️❤️ #IWD #IWD2025 #internationalwomensday
When one of your dearest, oldest, most treasured friends sends you these words. Why not send them to someone in your life that you think will treasure them too.xx❤️
Such a joy to see @kylieminogue in concert again. Every song, every move, every minute, absolute joyous perfection. To the point that no-one wanted to leave. And neither did we. So why not some impromptu dancing by the merch counter…😂 (see the last vid). That’s the Kylie effect. What a powerhouse. What a woman. What an icon! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ (And thanks so much for the lovely surprise present at the end Andy & Brendan! Sue and I had an absolute ball.😘) @frontiertouring @kylieminoguewines

Opening night of the Tony-Award-winning @mjthemusicalau at @sydneylyrictheatre Phenomenal cast led by @romanwbanks direct from Broadway as Michael Jackson, with choreography and staging that is simply, insanely, next level. Set in the early 90s it looks back on Michael Jackson’s life to that point, his incredible catalogue of absolute bangers, his pill addiction, his tough upbringing at the hands of father Joseph, but mostly his preparations for the Dangerous world tour. Yes, it does skate around the well documented allegations against him, and for some that will be, very understandably, an issue, but the show is not pretending to be anything other than a celebration of his genius musical and dancing talent. And as a show, I don’t think I’ve ever been to a musical where there were two massive and lengthy standing ovations long before the show finished. Another brilliant production from the man who brought Hamilton to Australia @m_cassel @michaelcasselgroup

Such an honour to share stories of my 40 years in the media, along with lessons learned – and my journey through some of my recent personal and professional challenges – with you all. Such a treat to attend the opening night of the retrospective exhibition of iconic Australian fashion designer @martingrantofficial at @ngvmelbourne …and catch-up with so many wonderful friends from back in my magazine days. (I even ran into the incredible Doris Tyler who, with her fashion designer husband Richard, were responsible for those swoon-worthy satin bomber jackets worn by my great teen-pop-band crush, Sherbet. ❤️ But I digress…) For more than 40 years Martin, the boy from Blackburn, Victoria who moved to – and conquered – Paris, has been at the top of his game designing for everyone from Cate Blanchett to Lady Gaga, to one of his dearest friends, sister of Jackie Kennedy, Lee Radziwill (talk to me about that amazing suede coat!). The exhibition has everything, including all the gorgeous paintings his dear mum kept as Martin obsessed over ballgowns as a five year old. Martin’s designs are proof that great style simply never goes out of fashion. If I had a favourite, it’s a toss-up between Lady Gaga’s heavenly navy/white spotted pantsuit (slide 3), and the incredible Audrey-Hepburn-esque black number in slide 4. But the truth is, all of it is superb. So if you’re in Melbourne anytime from now until January 2026, make sure you put it on your list of must-sees. (Oh, and if that pink/red background lighting in the first slide looks familiar, that could be a nod to Martin’s work as the designer of the current, now-iconic @qantas uniforms, which Martin also designed…) #martingrant #ngv #Melbourne @grew_up_in_the_70s_and_80s
